Cyclop Baby.

This one-eyed child was brought to this planet Earth in early August, last year (2006) at the Kasturba Gandhi Hospital for Women and Children in Chennai, India. The baby girl was diagnosed with a rare chromosomal disorder known as cyclopia. Cyclopia mean that a child is born with a single eye in the center of her forehead without a nose and her brain is fused into a single hemisphere.

Cyclopean babies can barely survive more than a few hours under normal circumtances. This baby, whose mother was discharged from the hospital several days after giving birth, gets all of her nutrients through a feeding tube. It was anticipated that the mother was given an experimental anti-cancer drug.
